Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra Officially Launched Globally

Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra have been officially launched globally in a grand event held in Barcelona on February 25. The arrival of these two flagship phones from Xiaomi has long been anticipated by their fans.

At the event, the Chinese manufacturer introduced Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Meanwhile, another model, Xiaomi 14 Pro, remains limited to the Chinese market.

As reported, Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. The panel has a resolution of 1200p and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, while the three 50 MP cameras on the back have undergone a total overhaul from the previous series.

According to GSMArena, the main camera has a brighter f/1.6 aperture and a larger 1/1.31” sensor with dual-pixel PDAF. The telephoto camera features a 3.2x zoom lens equivalent to 75mm, while the third is an ultra-wide-angle lens. Another change brought by Xiaomi 14 is the slightly larger 4,610mAh battery with faster 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, as well as 10W reverse wireless charging.

The newly announced Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which was introduced in China a few days ago, features the same 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display panel as its predecessor, but this time its peak brightness can reach 3000 nits. Xiaomi uses a special protective sheet called Shield Glass for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
